Welcome to the Mariana Islands Range Complex  EIS/OEIS Website

Welcome to the Navy’s official website for the Mariana Islands Range Complex Environmental Impact Statement/Overseas Environmental Impact Statement (EIS/OEIS). The Mariana Islands Range Complex consists of land, air, and sea areas of the Mariana Islands. The proposed action consists of an increase in the number of Mariana Islands Range Complex training operations, changes in the Navy’s force structure (such as new weapons systems) and additional enhancements in the range facilities, including modernization and upgrading of training facilities, and research, development, testing and evaluation of new technologies. The proposed action is necessary for the Mariana Islands Range Complex to support current, emerging, and future training operations, and thus achieve and maintain Fleet and force readiness at all times. This EIS/OEIS examines the potential environmental effects of the Navy’s proposal.
